We have a deck, our very own 8x10 deck that's only for us and can be used however we like. At our last apartment we had a courtyard that we never did much with because it was shared. But now that the sharing is over, I can't wait to deck out this deck of ours. With summer just around the corner, we'll probably start working on it fairly soon. It flows perfectly out of our dining area (even Jamie said so) and it provides lots of extra space for warm-weather parties. I'll make sure to show you guys before and afters once it's done.
I can't wait to see what you do with it! I'm really excited for having a backyard now; I have visions of a hammock, lots of naps and even picnics in the grass.
