I've been to Pamukkale, back in 2005. (1) the white calcium travertines are beautiful, and (2) Pamukkale is hours and hours away from anything else, so be prepared for that. It's not exactly some place you'd go if you only had 2 weeks in Turkey...like a hot air balloon ride over Kapadokya ;)
Been there and it is amazing. And it isn't hours from everything... Turkey is a big country, yes it is hours from the big cities but it is close to the coast and the ancient city of Ephesus. Both are unmissable parts of Turkey in my opinion! Jacqui
