I may be a little late to the party, but Joe and I just started watching Portlandia, and OHMYGOD, guys, it's fucking brilliant. I haven't really heard much talk about the show, so I'm assuming not a lot of people watch it? Too bad if that's the case, because every episode makes me laugh until I cry. I HIGHLY recommend it.
I love it so much! My sister and I watched the whole first season over Christmas on Netflix; we just kept staying up later and later. We were watching "put a bird on it" when my mom walked in, and she just said, "I don't get it." I guess it's not for baby boomers. There was just an article about the show and Carrie Brownstein in Elle, so maybe it's going to get more publicity.
Please Note: If you feel the need to write anything hurtful, nasty, unnecessary, or just plain mean, I will not publish it and will have no choice but to feel very sorry for you seeing as you have nothing better to do. Just sayin'...
