what's next?

If the last three years have been any indication, my life seems to have gone into overdrive. Since December of 2008, I've gotten engaged and planned a wedding, started this blog, had said wedding, turned 30, made a pretty big move, unexpectedly got pregnant, gave birth to the most awesome Cheech that ever lived, and took a smallish chunk out of our savings account to start a business. Part of me is just plain exhausted, yet the other part is excited to see what's yet to come. We're really putting in the effort to buy a house this year, so maybe that will be the next thing? Who knows? Whatever the case, my life already feels so full and instead of writing down a list of resolutions, I'm going to take this year to just appreciate and enjoy it.

Happy New Year, everyone!

  1. And a happy new year to you. Did you know that you were one of my first blog friends/loves? We started ours around the same time. Fun fun.

  3. Sounds like a full on few years! I think I'm entering that phase now; mid way through renovations and with a wedding in just 4 months... sheesh!

  8. Celia, I just found your ace blog through the celebration of boobs on ESB. I'm glad I only just discovered it because if I had been following for a while you might have thought I was a scary life mimic: all those things you just listed, I have done too, in almost the exactly the same time frame. Next up: buying a house. So effin scary.

Please Note: If you feel the need to write anything hurtful, nasty, unnecessary, or just plain mean, I will not publish it and will have no choice but to feel very sorry for you seeing as you have nothing better to do. Just sayin'...

And to everyone else, thank you.
