I don't have nice hands. They're really small which at least makes them cute, but beautiful, they are not. I've always envied women with slender and impossibly long fingers. For some reason, those women usually tend to have lovely nails as well. Instead, I am left with little breakfast sausage fingers. So when I come across gorgeous rings such as this one, I simply take a moment to admire, and then have no choice but to just move on with my life. Bummer.
Ring found via Courtney Cerruti's Pinterest page. Do you follow her? You should.
Don't worry, I have those hands you talked about, and although nice they are always cold and my rings tend to therefore fall of and get lost. So there is always something.
ReplyDeleteKris.
Don't feel so bad. I have long, thin fingers with ugly ("crazy person") nails. It all balances out.
ReplyDeleteand i am sure those girls with ET-like digits wish they could have shorter fingers! we all want what we can't have!

I've got those hands hence being nicknamed ET for the duration of the forth grade! Oh how I've always wanted petite hands which can't palm a basketball!
ReplyDeleteI have small hands, too, and tiny fingers. My ring finger is slightly smaller than a size 4. Oh, and Erica Weiner is my favorite! I own a couple of her necklaces, but I've coveted her antique rings for sooo long. I will eventually splurge and buy myself one... one day.
ReplyDeletep.s. The one thing I HATE about my hands: My nails. I could use weekly manicures, but I refuse to dish out the cash for such things. xo.
ughhh I've been jealous of 'egon schiele' fingers for ages. I'm tall with long feet but short stubby fingers. le sigh.
ReplyDeleteYou and me both. I have tiny carnie hands.
ReplyDeleteLOL @ "crazy person nails"
ReplyDeleteanyway, i just stopped by to say i love this post! ♥
Thankfully Joe loves to eat, so I'm sure he loves your breakfast sausages just the way they are!
ReplyDeleteI never much cared for my fingers/nails either, which is precisely why I do shell out the cash for twice-monthly manicures and have been doing so for over 3 years now - and I'm 42 years old with 3 young kids and no dishwasher. It's amazing how good it feels to look down at your hands and actually not *hate* them. I highly recommend it :)
