After struggling with a half broken laptop for the past few months, we finally took the plunge and ordered a new one a couple nights ago. Our new issue will be keeping our very active, very CURIOUS Cheech away from our shiny and non-broken computer. If you recall, we had set up a desk in our bedroom, but then replaced it with a crib... which was NEVER used. So now we're out a desk, and trying to work on our sofa with a baby around is pretty much impossible.
Unless we score a three bedroom (highly unlikely), I'm hoping that we can at the very least get a place that will be spacious enough to fit a desk in somewhere... I'll take anywhere, really. And this time around, there will definitely be no replacing with a crib. Most definitely NOT.

I really want my own office space. My boyfriend has a whole floor to himself as a studio and I seriously only have my couch. Not very fair.

Hey, I don't know what your house budget is, but my friend recently looked at a beautiful 2 bd in El Cerrito in the 300K range. I think that might be a good city to look in, with better schools for when Cheech gets older. Oakland public schools aren't the best unless you luck out and get a good elementary school...
