pajama party

I spend A LOT of time in my pajamas. Probably an absurd amount of time. Cheech and I usually get home from our daily activities, just in time for her dinner at around 5:30 every evening. I'm in my nightgown within five minutes of walking through my front door, and if I'm dressed for the day by 10:00 the next morning, then I'm off to a good start. The last time I bought pajamas was right before she was first born, which wasn't that long ago, but a mishap with The Cat a couple weeks ago left me with a huge gash across my knee and an unfortunate amount of blood stains along the bottom of my trusty nightgown. It's not the biggest deal, I guess. They are, after all, clean... just forever stained... and it's bugging me. Soooo, since such a large part of my day is loungewear-focused, I'm looking to treat myself to a lovely new nightgown. TOAST has some GREAT pieces (who knew?), but I've narrowed it down to these two. The second one could even make a great beach cover-up for our upcoming vacation, don't you think?

  1. Ooh I think you should get BOTH. They're so different from one another and both so awesome. And the second would indeed make a great cover-up.

    1. we did! we're booking it tonight. i looked into the one you suggested, but the only room that is a traditional suite is WAY out of our price range. it also sleeps 8, and we obviously have no need for three beds + a sofa bed in our room. anyway, details to come... xox

  4. The very first thing I do when I get home from work is change into my jam-jams. I only ever wear real clothes when I leave the house. I'm about to begin my most pajamas-heavy time of year: summer vacation (I'm a teacher). I'm ashamed to say that I go days on end without wearing actual clothes; I should probably invest in cuter PJs.
