home

We flew home from Mexico last Thursday to a condo of unpacked boxes and a never ending to-do list. We spent the weekend trying our best to get organized. Although it doesn't feel like it, we've managed to get a good amount done. Unfortunately this is still happening, but I'm pleased to tell you that we now have blinds, a bookcase, and a functioning closet. We even, finally, repotted our fig tree into a pot that we fell in love with and bought over two years ago (she is SO happy in her new home). It's funny how your old things gain new life when they're brought into a new place.

We're still feeling a bit overwhelmed by that never ending to-do list, but things are definitely starting to take shape. We can now see where we want everything to be, what colors we want on the walls, and how this is indeed the perfect place to host our first Thanksgiving. We're starting to see how this place, even in its current unruly state, is now our home.

  5. I'm in a similar boat - just moved from a 2 bedroom in Chicago to a studio in NYC. While I still feel like we have WAY TOO MUCH STUFF, it's slowly starting to feel like home. Congrats!!

Please Note: If you feel the need to write anything hurtful, nasty, unnecessary, or just plain mean, I will not publish it and will have no choice but to feel very sorry for you seeing as you have nothing better to do. Just sayin'...

And to everyone else, thank you.
