oh, yeah...

We went to Mexico, and it already seems like ages ago. These past few weeks have been beyond hectic, but I finally took the time to sit down and edit the pictures from our trip that I liked best... you know, before I share the pictures from the trip we went on since coming home from Cabo. 

We ended up staying at a Hilton resort because it was the ONLY hotel in the area that met all of our requirements, and fell in our budget. I don't really want this post to be a review, but there were pluses and minuses for sure. In short, would we stay there again? Probably not. Don't get me wrong. We had a blast, but the whole area seemed to lack the charm it had when I last visited... over ten years ago. Also, one of the reasons we left LA was because of the sickening heat, so WHY we decided to go to Mexico in August, I'll never know. It was kind of a bummer, but when it really boils down to it, I am more than happy to spend five days ANYWHERE with my two favorite peeps.
