I've never tried this drink, or anything like it really, but I'm making sure we have all the ingredients ready for afternoon football this Sunday. Hello everyone! I really wanted to get this to you for the Holiday weekend, but, well... I just didn't get there. So here's hoping for an Indian Summer to enjoy this cocktail. I had it at local watering hole, Beretta, who is known for their delicious cocktails during a rare 80 degree day in San Francisco, and it was preposterously refreshing. As far as I can tell this is one their own creations and it's really so simple.
Mexico 70
1 1/2 ounce blanco tequila
1/2 ounce lime juice (approx. half a lime)
1/4 ounce agave nectar
Shake these three ingredients and pour into a champagne or cocktail glass. Top off with Prosecco (should be equal to the amount of beverage in the glass). Garnish with a lime twist.
Delicious!
